Nearly the entire area of Prague is covered by parking zones or paid parking areas.

Parking zones are divided into blue residential zones, purple or mixed parking, and orange zones or visitor zones. These paid parking zones are divided according to who and how long can park in a particular area. Therefore, pay attention to the supplementary traffic signs located in the parking zones, which provide drivers with information regarding their current position within the parking zones. These signs inform drivers about the specific zone they are in, the parking fee, and the operating hours of these zones.

Blue Parking Zones

Blue parking zones are reserved for residents, i.e., inhabitants with permanent residence in the area, subscribers (individuals or legal entities running a business), and property owners.
